Taking the idea of the red city part of Nordhavn and the blue of the ocean I created RALOSOLAR in collaboration with Pleasure Control. A big 10x1 m sign welcoming you to Nordhavn Metro St in Copenhagen. The reflective and multicoloured filter plays with the sun in the daytime, and in the nighttime the 2074 RGB pixels lights up creating a specially tailored show for this piece.
The piece was commisioned by By & Havn - the official city planner of Copenhagen - and is part of a discovery walk in the Nordhavn area. A main objective was to make people feel welcome and engaged in the new plaza and the piece. The hashtag #RALOSOLAR was therefor created for people to share their own interpretations of the work on social media.

This piece marks my debut as an exhibiting artist.
